Somatic Practice
Grounding your nervous system and trusting your body's physical intuition.
About Illuminated Lifeways
Illuminated Lifeways offers existential wellness experiences for women 40+ who are ready to reconnect with what matters and live with greater purpose, vitality, and intention.
The philosophy
Life after 40 can bring a surprising mix of freedom, change, and uncertainty. The roles that once organized your days may be shifting, while a quieter question begins to ask for your attention: What do I want this next chapter to mean?
Illuminated Lifeways was created for that question. It is a place to pause, reflect, and make thoughtful choices about the life you are living now—and the life you want to shape from here.
About Kristen Jawad
Kristen Jawad, M.Ed, brings more than two decades of integrative practice to this work. Her background spans education, psychology, somatic healing and Nonviolent Communication facilitation, decision science through co-founding Clarity4Action, and chaplaincy and spiritual care. She is also the host of the Illuminated Lifeways podcast. This breadth is not incidental — it reflects a deep conviction that meaningful change requires attending to the whole person: body, mind, relationships, and spirit.

Our values
Later life can be a time of deeper freedom, contribution, connection, and self-knowledge.
The life you have lived is not something to outgrow. It is material for a more intentional future.
There is no single right answer. The work is to discover what matters now, in your own words.
