Pregnancy, as well as childbirth, are physically and emotionally demanding for the mother.
Starting from the seventh month of pregnancy, the you may start experiencing swelling, aches & disrupted sleep as the baby grows. Stress hormones can significantly decrease with massage. Regular oil massage also boosts the ‘happy’ hormones Dopamine and Serotonin.
Some women also start feeling anxious or experience mood shifts around this time. A gentle and soothing pregnancy massage with oil provides relief from problems like swelling, pain, and tiredness. It also promotes easy labor.
SERVICES ARE OFFERED FROM GIFT CONSULTATIONS TO $1,500 PACKAGES.

Ideally, you will receive pregnancy massage and support from through each trimester as you transition into motherhood. I can help you create your postpartum nest at home.
"Kristen’s sessions brought me the much needed calm and composure to my postpartum days. She was very flexible with my scheduling around my baby’s feeding times and husband’s work timings. She followed covid protocol. I loved the aroma therapy and music choices accompanying the amazing massages.
Kristen gave valuable postpartum planning tips and a calm listening approach.
She also went above and beyond and helped by recommending pelvic floor physical therapy resources, and a nanny who worked out great for our childcare needs. Overall I would highly recommend Kristen’s services."

Ayurveda isn’t focused on a “quick fix,” rather it offers integral lifestyle changes that can transform your entire life, sustainably. This is a practice, learning to bring health and balance into every part of your being.
Giving birth can be tremendously stressful for the mother, even if she does it with the most beautiful ease and grace. Her sympathetic nervous response, the fight-flight-freeze response, is almost always heightened, especially in births that are outside of the home or that have complications. It is absolutely critical to support the mother in bringing her nervous system out of a sympathetic response and back into rest & digest mode so her body and mind can relax and heal.
An Ayurvedic postpartum program is customized to the individual, based on their health needs, the season and their resources. In general, postpartum nutrition support that restores digestive strength, supports breastmilk and bala (strength). Bala refers to the strength of the body and mind – the strength of the physical tissues, immune-system, consistent natural rhythms (sleep, digestion, cycles), mental & emotional stability.
“In other times, and in other places around the world, a postpartum period of healing and adjustment was expected and allowed. After the rigorous and demanding act of birth, it was considered critically necessary for the whole family—and for society at large—that a woman be given the first forty days to heal and rest. Other people in her community would feed her, nurture her, and take all responsibilities off her plate, so that she could focus on one thing only: transitioning healthily and happily from expectant woman to mother.”
